The attorneys at Goss & Fentress are members of the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (NOSSCR). Formed in 1979, NOSSCR presented its first Social Security disability law conference in New Orleans. NOSSCR has grown in membership and services ever since. Today, NOSSCR is more than 3,000 members strong, with members in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The organization has served many vital functions including becoming pioneers in continuing legal education through its educational programs for Social Security and SSI claimant’s representatives.
This year’s spring conference was held in Washington, DC in June. Robert Silberman and John Goss were invited to conduct a training session that covered the issues of amending onset dates in disability claims and cross-examining vocational expert witness in disability hearings. Each brought more than thirty years of experience to the session to share with the sessions’ participants. Goss & Fentress was pleased at the positive feedback that has been received since the conference.
