John Goss is appointed to the NOSSCR Board of Directors
Goss & Fentress is proud to announce that John Goss has been appointed to the board of directors of the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives. Formed in 1979, NOSSCR has grown ever since in membership and in the services it provides. Today, NOSSCR has more than 3,000 Social Security Disability attorney members in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The organization sustains us with vital supporting functions that include advocating for disabled persons in the halls of Congress and pioneering continuing legal education for disability claimant’s representatives with educational programs and publications. Both John and fellow Goss & Fentress partner Robert Silberman have conducted NOSSCR training sessions at past national conferences.
John’s appointment to the NOSSCR board follows recognition of his work as a NOSSCR volunteer fighting for the rights of disability claimants caught up in the Eric C. Conn fraud investigation. John also received one of five American Bar Association 2016 Pro bono awards for this important work.
Goss & Fentress is pleased at the recognition our firm has received on the national stage for this important work.
