Goss & Fentress Social Security Disability Attorneys Participate in Spring NOSSCR Conference
This year’s Spring NOSSCR Conference was held April 25-28 in Atlanta. Attorneys John Goss attended. These conferences are undoubtedly the best way for our attorneys to stay on the cutting edge of Social Security Disability practice. This is even more important given the increasingly challenging atmosphere in which cases are presented.
More and more it feels like Administrative Law Judges are predisposed to deny disability claims, and knowing how to best present a client’s medical conditions requires considerable ongoing education. The attorneys at Goss & Fentress have moved beyond attending these conferences as students to teaching other attorneys how to present disability claims.
As a board member, John Goss attended the NOSSCR Board of Directors meeting then proceeded to teach two sessions at this year’s conference. The first was an update on the redetermination process the Social Security Administration has created in the last four years to address mass fraud allegations. His presentation was based upon his work on the Eric Conn controversy (work that earned him a 2016 ABA Pro Bono Award). His second conference presentation offered newer attorneys strategies for designing and presenting a claimant’s testimony in disability hearings.
Our attorneys are pleased to offer their years of experience in handling Social Security disability cases to other members of our professional community. They are also poised and ready to put this experience to work on your case. If you need representation in your disability claim or know someone who might, let us help. Contact us now!
